Sleep is not only essential to our overall functioning, but to moms it is a treasure! From crying babies, toddlers running around, keeping up with soccer practices, music lessons and extracurricular activities sleep is the last thing on our minds. With changing hormones, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, menopause our sleep cycle and patterns are already affecting how we sleep. But we need to make sleep a priority…not just because it is important for our overall heath but helps our mental and physical health.
